My Duffy Book

Have you read the book Kyla. Witch was written by Frances Cherry. This Book is a really good book to read. I will tell you about the book. Kyla's world is centred around her beloved grandmother, Nora, safe in the knowledge that she knows who she is and where she belongs. But now Nora has died, and Kyla belongs nowhere. Taken away to live with her auntie, Caroline, suddenly Kyla`s World is filled of doubt and questions.

Kyla hates Caroline, hates her new school and hates everything. To make herself feel important, she make up stories about her life, until there are just to many lies.......

My made up holiday story

Laying down in my bed I heard something rattling. So I got up and checked everywhere and it was nothing. So I closed my eyes and went back to sleep. While I was sleeping I felt someone shaking me so I woke up and it my little sister. She said to me “ I heard something in the wardrobe” then I said to her “ I know but just close your eyes and go to sleep. So we both went to sleep in my bed.

While I was sleeping I heard my mom shout out “ Where is baby?” So I woke up, looked in my wardrobe and there it was my baby brother playing with his rattle.

So the moral of my story is to check on your kids before you go bed.

Standing beside the stage I was nervous, shy and hot. So I sat down and watched Mr Barks group. As I heard Isara say “ Lets give it up for Pacific Contemporary girls” I started to shake. When I got up on the stage I felt very nervous but at the same time I felt very happy. Performing so hard I came of the stage and my mum said “ You perform very well”

My Goals 2014

My Personal Goals - 2014  Date : Wednesday, 5th  February

1.My achievement I was most proud of  last year  in the classroom was maths

because I move from the middle and nearly to the top.

2.The thing I was most proud of last year outside of the classroom was netball because a was a Goal shot and I could get shot from far.

3.In reading my learning goal is to read more books and try to get to the level I have to get two.

4.To achieve this goal I need to read more and more book at school and at home.

5.In writing  my goal is to write more effective paragraph.  

To achieve this goal I need to use more juicy and vocabulary words.  

6.In Maths my goal is to learn to do my division, timetable and learn more maths strategies.   

7.The learning area I think I need to improve in most is writing. Because on my report writing was really low and I only move a little bit.

8.In my learning my goal this term is to  show the teacher where I am on my nextbook. So that means I have to be in the  right place at the right time.

9.My goal for this year around the classroom is to have the right attitude when I enter the classroom and to Stop Look and Listen when the teacher tells us to.

10.My goal for this year around the school is to look after the little kids at school and help everyone at school.

11.My parents goal for me this Term is to focus on my work . Get in to all the sports team and try to be a prefect for 2015.
