The Bridges at Omaru Creek

The Bridge is Green and wooden. It has a green coat of mould covering it. Water Flows underneath and the bridge looks like checkborad. It spans the gap from one bank to the other. It has rails to keep people safe.

The Lake at Omaru Creek

The Lake is green and has dirty water. It has calm surface. Roots from plants drinks the water. It is surrounded by plants and trees. The Lake ends at the man made war  ( Which is the dam) When the sun shines it reflects of shimmering surface of the lake.

My First week of a year 6

On the first week as a year 6 my teacher is Miss Garden. A Lot of kids wanted to be in Mr S class. The first day was a cool day. But the best day was on Thursday because we walked around Omaru creek.

On Thursday morning my Literacy teacher Mr Marks took us for a walk to Omaru Creek. We started at Elstree road which was where the creek started.  I was waking throw a lot of bushes and I saw taniwha road where all the other kids were.

Mr Marks told us to keep on moving. So we all started to walk down throw the creek and we walked on to the Bridge. We saw a lot of things like tadpoles and a lot of planets.

My Prize giving Perfroms

prize giving item from Team 4 Pes on Vimeo.

On Thursday night Point England had prize giving in their own hall. The juniors were at 2.00 0’clock and the seniors were at 7.00 pm. When it was time for the seniors pzir giving we had to sit in our places.I had to do  two items which were kapa haka and my normal one with my own team.

I was so surprised that I was in Kapa Haka. The first time we perform was for the juniors we did 3 songs which were Ko Tena Aroha, Papakitetaha, and He Taua.

When kapa haka was finished it was for my team to shine but first we had to give out our prizes. Some girls and boys in my class got awards. I was so scared because I was in front with my friend. We were dancing so hard out I nearly fell. Dancing was a lot of fun
